The past weekend I had the privelege to meet extraordinary women. Women who is doing great work in our community. I’ve learned that no matter who we are and what we do we all have a story. No one is living the “perfect” life! There is so much we have to offer each other. I love the platform Tessa Jaftha created to appreciate women and empower them to make a difference. The Women’s Lifestyle Network has empowered me to be more involved in supporting one another!
I’ve learned that…
Receiving is all about giving.
The more you give the more would be given upon you. Being in a position to give is a great blessing and someone in the world needs what you have to offer. Giving can be the smallest gesture to help someone cross the street or to get involved and help in the community.
Never judge a book by it’s cover.
This is a phrase we use quite often. But sometimes without even thinking about it we are judging people from the way they dress look and act. But once again this past weekend showed me that people are real and we all have a story to tell. We all experience heart ache and pain. And ehat we experience on the inside is not always seen on the outside.
When women support each other great things can happen.
When we stand alone it is hard. We need other women in our lives to support us. We need a helping hand and we need to build each other up, when we can only think of falling apart. Without the women in my life, I would have no one to turn to, in time of need. We as women stand much stronger when we join forces. Women empowerment is about showing the world what we can accomplish by working together. Big things can happen when we stand together.
We can make a difference.
You have the power to change someone’s life. Making a difference in the world we live in, starts with us. We have turned a blind eye too many times. Women should be standing together, protecting, supporting, and loving one another.
I believe we are the back bones to our communities we should get involve and help women with the challenges they face and notice the women making a difference. It is also our priority to raise our children with the correct values. We should set examples for them and help them to live in their purpose.
Behind every successful woman is a tribe of other successful women who have her back.
